To keep the old atmosphere of a 70’s house without jeopardising the functionality and comfort of a modern house. This particular house had quite a low ceiling, so we decided to brake it above the entrance hall, creating a new atrium; and above the living room, creating a library on a mezzanine, where you can look over the whole living area and garden.
The window are now bigger, opening up to the garden, panoramically, as well as upstairs, where a new floor is created from an unused attic. A new suite with master bedroom and private bathroom.
The chosen materials are serene and respecting neutral colours, blending in with wood details.
